Patrick J. Kelley, President
Prior to forming Kelley Management Consulting (KMC) in 2001, Patrick spent over 10 years in management and technology consulting with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and iXL/Scient. In his 20+ year of consulting, he has worked with businesses of all sizes across a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, financial services, consumer goods, automotive and chemicals.
Patrick formed KMC with the simple idea of partnering with business leaders and their teams to identify and deliver sustainable growth and profitability. His expertise centers around helping teams define its strategic ambition and to align its people and resources in a away that it can be achieved. Patrick leverages his expertise in strategy, process and organizational design and blends it with a passion for cultivating the leadership skills within a client organization to ensure that the client's ambition will be realized and sustained.
In addition to his client work, Patrick is responsible for leading KMC's consulting thought leadership. Two areas of particular interest include:
- Leveraging quantitative and qualitative customer information to improve the customer experience, drive improved decision-making, and increase process efficiency of clients, their customers and suppliers.
- Understanding the key drivers of 'organizational adaptability' and how companies can increase their 'adaptive index' leading to sustained levels of superior performance, especially in industries challenged with high levels of market and/or competitive volatility.
Prior to his consulting career, Patrick worked in the financial services industry in New York City and holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. in Operations Planning and Marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is an avid runner and golfer. Patrick lives in the Chicago area and is the proud father of six children.
